Canesten Thrush Cream 20g


Canesten Thrush Cream can be used to treat men and women.

Cream containing: Clotrimazole 2% w/w.
Treatment of candidal vulvitis or balanitis (thrush).
It should be used as an adjunct to the treatment of candidal vaginitis.
This cream treats thrush by acting as a fungicide - killing the fungus that causes thrush.
Can also be used for treatment of sexual partner's penis to prevent re-infection
16-60 years of age: apply thinly 2 or 3 times daily and rub in gently.  Treatment should continue until symptoms of infection disappear.  However, if after concomitant treatment of the vaginitis the symptoms do not improve within 7 days, the patient should consult a physician.
Under 16 and over 60 years: not recommended except on medical advice.
Canesten Thrush Cream should not be used for more than two episodes in any six-month period.  You should seek medical advice if you suffer from recurrent thrush.
You should seek medical advice if pregnant or breastfeeding.
Inactive ingredients: Sorbitan stearate, Polysorbate 60, Cetyl palmitate, Cetostearyl alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Benzyl alcohol, Purified Water.  Do not use if you are allergic to any of these ingredients.
